When I asked Jeremy what the position of Deputy Superintendent of Education Services entailed, he calmly replied, “I oversee all programs and direct services to students in El Dorado County schools, including child development. I also manage and oversee the information technology for the district as well as head up staff development and beginning teacher support.” I was at once amazed by his calm demeanor with such diverse responsibility while simultaneously surmising that his calm was exactly the element that made him the perfect person to fill such a position.  My next thought was - how could one person possibly have the background to do all of these things?  So, I asked about his background and was immediately assured that what Jeremy does and who Jeremy is, fit like a hand in a glove.  See for yourself this brief overview:

Because of his expertise in technology, Jeremy plans to assist the Foundation with formulating an online grants application process that promises to be cutting edge and very welcome by all of those who do the important work of granting!

In Jeremy’s own words:  “I chose to accept a seat on the Board of the El Dorado Community Foundation because the Foundation facilitates collaboration with the full array of El Dorado County non-profits.  While my particular interests are with children and families, I deeply appreciate the scope of the Foundation's generosity and collaborative efforts.”  We welcome Jeremy and his talents to our Board of Directors.
