The El Dorado Community Foundation Board of Directors elected Charlie Stephens to serve as President for 2009. Charlie officially began his service to the Community Foundation in 2005. Prior to assuming his role as President, he has served as Vice President and on the Leadership and Finance Committees of the Board.
The Foundation’s Board of Directors also approved the following slate of officers for 2009: Maureen Carter, Vice President, Don Peek, Secretary, Tom Meuser, Treasurer, and Bob Penn, Past President.
The El Dorado Community Foundation solicits and manages charitable gifts through an endowment fund. Foundation grants are awarded throughout El Dorado County in support of local nonprofit services and programs. Individuals and nonprofit organizations interested in learning more about the Foundation or how the Foundation may be able to help them realize their charitable dreams, are asked to contact the El Dorado Community Foundation.
