Agency Endowment Funds


These are permanent funds established by businesses, individuals, organizations, or the agencies they benefit. The funds provide area agencies with ongoing financial support.

Acri Family Fund for CASA
Created by Mark and Sherri Acri to support CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). As CASA volunteers, they know first-hand how important CASA’s work is to the children in South Lake Tahoe.

Adult Day Care Fund
Developed by a group of people dedicated to building an adult day care facility to meet the needs of El Dorado Hills residents.

American River Conservancy Fund
Serves our community by protecting our natural habitats so biodiversity can flourish.

Barton Memorial Hospital Foundation Fund
Provides ongoing support for the hospice program, health resource center, and a variety of other essential hospital projects.

Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County Western Slope Fund
Established through a gift from Doug and Peggy Milton and their family to help build club facilities and pay for operating expenses.

Boys and Girls Club of Lake Tahoe Fund
The Club provides youth development to inspire and enable all young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

CASA El Dorado Fund
Established to serve the best interests of abused and neglected children through the training of volunteer community members to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates in juvenile dependency, delinquency and family law cases.

Cedar Springs Waldorf School Fund
Created by friends and families of this private school to offset operating costs.

City of Placerville Recreation for Youth Fund
Assists young people who are unable to afford tuition or fees to attend camps, classes, and other programs the city provides.

Divide Humane Society Fund
Supports animal welfare with strong emphasis on spay and neuter programs for dogs and cats in El Dorado County.

Episcopal Church of Our Saviour Fund
Supports the charitable mission of the church.

Family Resource Center Fund
Assists individuals and families in maintaining health, self-sufficiency, and stability. Supports families in becoming a contributing part of our community.

The Lenore Finney Fund
Supports the charitable mission of the El Dorado Adventist School.

Friends of the Library of El Dorado County Fund
Earnings from this fund support library services and activities not regularly budgeted for by the library.

Holy Trinity Church Fund

Georgetown Youth Fund
Provides programs and awards that improve and recognize student leadership and citizenship skills at the Georgetown Middle School.

Junior Livestock Auction Fund
Established to assist young people involved in the County 4-H program.

Marble Valley Regional Center for the Arts Fund
Sustains operations for this nonprofit arts organization to create a multipurpose center in El Dorado County to serve El Dorado, Sacramento, Amador, Placer, and Yolo Counties.

Marshall Community Health Library Fund
Developed to build sustainability and to attract additional support from other grant sources and community donors.

Marshall Foundation for Community Health Fund
Established to support hospital programs or projects, education, and state-of-the-art equipment that will improve and meet the health care needs of the community

M.O.R.E. – Adults with Disabilities Fund
Supports services to adults with disabilities by providing training in life and work skills and paid work opportunities.

Mother Lode Lions Fund
An endowed fund created to assist this club in fulfilling its community service goals in El Dorado County.

Mother Teresa Maternity Home Fund
Supplements costs of housing and other services necessary for young women, new mothers, and their babies.

New Morning Youth and Family Services Fund
Created by New Morning’s board of directors to provide a steady, predictable source of income for the vital services the agency provides.

Oak Ridge High School Foundation Fund

Peek Family Fund
This fund provides support of the ongoing administrative expenses of the El Dorado Community Foundation.

Placerville Kiwanis Club Memorial Fund
Provides the club with dependable, ongoing funds for scholarships.

Gordon Purdy Children's Library Book Fund
Created by a legendary El Dorado High School English teacher to purchase books for the children's collection of the El Dorado County Library.

Rotary Club of Placerville Fund
Established to assure funds would always be available to provide scholarships and other community support.

Rubicon Trail Foundation
To enhance the future health and use of the Rubicon Trail, while ensuring responsible, motorized, year-round trail access.

Sierra Recovery Center Fund
Supports this social model residential treatment center that provides outpatient transitional living and detox services.

Snowline Hospice Fund
Supports compassionate end of life care for the indigent. Also funds symptom control treatments not covered under the Hospice Medicare Benefit.

South Lake Tahoe Women’s Center Fund
Supports improving the emotional, social, and economic condition of women and families through programs that address domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and basic needs.

Sugarloaf Fine Arts Camp Fund
Provides funds for ongoing operating expenses and scholarships for children attending the camp.

Tahoe Heritage Foundation Fund
Preserves and protects the cultural heritage and natural history resources of the Lake Tahoe Basin through restoration, interpretation, and education.

Spencer F. Weber Memorial Endowment Fund
In partnership with the 'Music on the Divide’ program, this fund helps provide musical instruments for students of the Black Oak Mine School District.
